General
1. Why Black Beverages?
We believe that consumers like you will appreciate and support a business that gives them the ability to find and purchase beverages made by Black people in one place. You do not have to be a Black person to shop at blackbeverages.com you just have to want to support Black businesses. All of the products on our website are sold on their individual websites and/or either sold in their local communities and local stores, a few are carried in national stores. Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission of creating a one of a kind, five-star online store to retail beverages made by Black people, helping them to increase their exposure, sales, and market share.
2. I already buy beverages made by Black people elsewhere. Why do I need to support your site?
We’d love you as a member and/or customer, but as long as you are drinking beverages made by Black people we’re happy! And since you’ve already got it goin on please also checkout our “Eatables" page (other fabulous products made by Black people) and make sure you’ve got those items in your pantry.
3. Where are you located?
We’re located in Manson, North Carolina.
4. I’m having a party/event and I’d like to have all the beverages at my party/event made by Black people. Can you help me?
We got you! We’d love to help you make your event memorable by providing beverages made by Black people. Please email customerservice@blackbeverages.com to get started. Please also checkout our “Eatables" page (other fabulous products made by Black people) and make sure you’ve got some of those items for your party/event. Please also check out our sampler boxes. Our sampler boxes are excellent gifts.
5. Do you give some of your proceeds to charity?
Yes we do! Please check out our “Give Back Program”.
6. How do you all decide which products to carry?
We have scoured the internet for all Black made beverages. We’re working on adding new black made beverages every day.
7. I know of a great Black owned beverage you should carry. How can I let you know about them?

8. Who owns Black Beverages?
Black Beverages is owned by 4 Black women, Carmen, Renaee, Sherrie and Tammy. Read “Our Story”.
9. At what stores can I buy the beverages you have on your site?
You'd have to check each of the products individual websites to find which stores they're available in. Or, you can just order right here online!
10. Can I get on your email list?
For sure. Just scroll down to sign up.
11. How can I unsubscribe from emails?
Simply click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the footer of the email, or email customerservice@blackbeverages.com
12. How long does coffee and tea stay fresh?
Coffee: Generally speaking whole bean coffee properly stored in a degassed bag will maintain freshness for up to 6-9 months. Once coffee beans are ground they retain less flavor and freshness. Loose Leaf Tea: In theory, if stored correctly, tea will never spoil, but will eventually taste stale.
Shipping
1. What are my shipping options?
Become a member! All of our members get free standard shipping. Some of our orders are shipped directly from the maker. We are unable to ship to U.S. Territories and P.O. Boxes at this time. We ship orders via USPS.

2. How much do you charge for shipping?
Shipping cost will be calculated at your checkout. Shipping charges are standard shipping rates based on the weight of your items.
3. Do you ship to Canada or other countries outside of the United States?
No. Unfortunately we do not ship outside of the U.S.
4. How long before I receive my order?
We wish we could guarantee mail delivery times but orders confirmed and processed should arrive 7-10 business days with standard shipping. If you select a quicker mode of transportation, expect to see them even sooner!
My Order
1. When will my order ship?
All orders ship within 1-2 business days from the date of your order confirmation and processing. Some of our orders are shipped directly from the maker and make take a few more days to ship.
2. How do I track my order?
As soon as your order is placed, you should receive a confirmation email. We’ll send you a separate email with tracking information once your order ships. This email will have a “track my package” link. If you didn’t receive this email please contact: customerservice@blackbeverages.com If you have an account with us, log in to your account, Go to “My Orders” and click “View Oder”. Then click “Track Your Order” and a pop-up will appear with a tracking link. If you don’t have an account with us or have not received an order confirmation email please contact customerservice@blackbeverages.com with your order number and billing last name.
3. How do I cancel or change my order?
If your order hasn’t been processed for shipping, we will be able to cancel it. Email customerservice@blackbeverages.com and we will try our best to make any requested changes or cancellations.
Returns/Exchanges
1. What is your return and exchange policy?
Since we sell perishable goods, we do not accept returns or exchanges for beverages. That said we want you to be happy with your purchase and our service. Please do not send your purchase back to the maker. If you purchased it from us it’s our responsibility to make sure you’re happy. If you are not pleased with your purchase please email customerservice@blackbeverages.com immediately upon receipt.
2, My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
We’re sorry to hear your order arrived in less than perfect condition. If you received an item that is damaged or incorrect, please email customerservice@blackbeverages.com immediately upon receipt.
Auto-ship Subscription Service/Memberships and Gift Cards
1. What is your auto-ship subscription service?
Once you find your new favorite black made beverage, simply choose "subscribe and save" and you'll receive your product monthly.
2. I signed up for auto-ship, but I’ve changed my mind.
Please contact customerservice@blackbeverages.com for assistance with cancelling your auto-ship order.
3. What is your membership service? And how does it work?
Please see our Membership page.
4. I signed up for membership but I’ve changed my mind and I’d like to cancel.
We’d hate to see you lose out on your membership benefits but you can cancel anytime. Your membership is an annual membership and can be reinstated any time during your membership year. Membership cost is non-refundable.
5. Do you have gift cards available?
Yes, we do offer gift cards. Gift cards can be in any amount $25-$100. Sales tax will not be applied to the purchase of gift cards, but will be applied to the purchase being paid for by gift card. Our gift cards have no service charges but should be redeemed within a year of its purchase. They’re non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash (except where required by law). Apologies if you’ve misplaced or had your gift card stolen - unfortunately we can’t replace it.
